North Shelby Baptist Church
North Shelby is a “mid-sized” congregation that is conservative in doctrine and worship while seeking to be liberal in love and giving.
They are located on US 280 on the slope of Double Oak Mountain, between Birmingham and Chelsea. They are a Southern Baptist Church that is committed to Loving God, Loving One Another and Sharing Jesus with the World.
Church History
The vision for a new church plant in Shelby County began in 1993 with several couples who were studying the book, Experiencing God. They sensed God’s call to be part of a new work and coordinated with the Birmingham Baptist Association to begin the challenge of starting a church. By December of 2000 they moved to their current location and have expanded multiple times over the years.
I serve as the Business Administrator at North Shelby Baptist Church in Birmingham Alabama. We secured the services of Plexamedia to update and develop our church website. Tim and the rest of the team at Plexamedia were stellar! They were professional and responsive. They listened well to our input. They gave us guidance as well related to other church websites they have developed. Our experience with Plexamedia was AWESOME!

Website and Video
Plexamedia’s website team worked closely with North Shelby Baptist Church to develop a responsive WordPress website which works with mobile, tablet, and desktop. At the same time, our production team created video and photography to unify the messaging. The result is a modern site that communicates across devices, using a variety of media to reach its audience.
